Goddess Varahi is the consort of Lord Varaha, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Varahi Devi is a manifestation of Shakti and one of the eight Matrikas (Mother Goddesses) who slays Demons. She is also popularly called Varahi Amman in the Southern parts of India. Goddess Varahi was born from the body of Lord Varaha, She has a face of a boar and is often depicted with eight arms holding Sangu, Chakram, Gadhai, Kadgam, Mushalam, Damaragam, Abayavaradam and Ulakkai. Goddess Varahi is considered as the epitome of Gnana (Knowledge) and supreme protector for Her devotees. She is also depicted as riding a Buffalo and holding a staff in her hand. Varahi Devi is a focal point in Tantric Sadhana. Varahi Amman Pooja blesses a devotee by destroying enemies, provides relief from negativity, evil eye, ill health, accidents and bad karma.
Devotees perform the Varahi Amman Pooja at home by following the Varahi Pooja Vidhanam or the Varahi rituals meticulously to usher her blessings of protection. The Varahi Pooja Vidhanam consists of a fairly long list of offerings when performing the Varahi Pooja at home.
Varahi Devi is depicted with the head of a Boar and body of human. She is the consort of Lord Varah(the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu). Varahi Devi Pooja and Homa(Yajna) or Varahi pooja is done at night. Many choose to do Varahi Amman Pooja at home too. It is believed that Varahi Devi, regardless of Her appearance is kind and compassionate and answers the prayers of Her devotees instantly. Varahi Amman pooja and Homam bestows the devotee with many significant blessings.

A short Video of the Sankalpa and mantra chanting would be sent to you along with the photographs of the Puja ritual. You may connect with the priest during the puja (video or phone call) on WhatsApp or Skype and watch the rituals live. Puja Tokri having prasad, energized Rudraksha, silver tabeez and Durga yantra would be sent along. Rudra Centre priests will perform Varahi Devi Puja and Homam as per Vedic rituals based on birth details.
